The Research Training Group 2901 SYLOBIO’s retreats are dedicated events where consortium members present updates on subproject developments and review progress made so far.

Designed to enable intensive and direct collaboration, these biannual retreats are held at off-site locations to create an environment conducive to focused work.

The discussions encourage the development of problem-solving approaches, the sharing of knowledge and experiences, and the conceptual advancement of the overall project. Additionally, joint activities help build strong connections among participants, facilitating the exchange of implicit, experience-based knowledge.

The latest retreat was held on November 25–26, 2025.
